How does electrolysis work?

A very fine sterile probe is carefully inserted into the natural opening of the hair follicle. A small amount of electrical energy is then applied to target the cells responsible for hair growth, allowing the treated hair to be gently removed.

Because hairs grow at different stages of the hair-growth cycle, electrolysis requires a course of regular treatments rather than being a one-off appointment. Over time, as individual follicles are successfully treated, the amount of unwanted hair gradually reduces.
